AGLCA Book Club
Submitted by aglcaadmin on Sat, 11/15/2008 - 12:33amThe AGLCA Book Club is yet another opportunity to engage in a fun and rewarding activity with your AGLCA friends. We meet monthly, usually on the second Wednesday of each month, at various members' homes, for food & drink and a lively discussion of that month’s selected book. We don't discriminate when it comes to the range of genres we read – from classic literature to best selling novels to biographies to histories to gay fiction! Recent titles have included:
- Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote
- Gallileo's Daughter by Dava Sobel
- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin
- The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell
- Jeb and Dash by Harriet Doerr
- Perfume by Patrick Suskind
- The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides
- Full Service by Soctty Bowers
- The Boys in the Band by Matt Crowley
- The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot
- Driving on the Rim by Thomas McGuane
